Weigh in on Village Water Supply
The village board heard another proposal from a possible water supplier. Which way are you leaning?
On Monday night the South Farmingdale Water District met with the Farmingdale village board about the possibility of being the village's new water provider.
The district indicated they would be returning with a proposal in the next few weeks.
The Bethpage Water District is also close to making a proposal to serve the village's growing water needs.

Another possibility is the Suffolk County Water Authority supplying water to the village, but that would require the state to pass legislation making the vilage the first in Nassau County to receive water from Suffolk County.
