Woman Tries To Cash Fake Check With Daughter At Bethpage Bank: Police
The woman and three other people were arrested after they were all found to be in possession of fake checks on Tuesday evening, police say.

BETHPAGE, NY - Four people were arrested after they were found with multiple fake checks in Bethpage on Tuesday evening, according to Nassau Police.
According to police, officers on patrol noticed a 2004 Toyota Corolla driving with a child who was not in a safety seat into the parking lot of 4120 Hempstead Turnpike at about 5:05 p.m.
Officers then saw 27-year-old Suzette Lugo, of Queens, with her young daughter try to cash a fake check at the TD Bank on 145 Stewart Avenue, police said.

After further investigation, officers found 28-year-old Hakim Bey, 22-year-old Darien Wilson, and 27-year-old Noel Billings, all of Queens, were all waiting in the car nearby with more fake checks, police said.
Lugo is being charged with three counts of second degree possession of a forged instrument, third degree attempted grand larceny, and endangering welfare of child.

Bey is being charged with nine counts of second degree possession of a forged instrument and third degree attempted grand larceny.
Wilson is being charged with five counts of second degree possession of a forged instrument and third degree attempted grand larceny.
Billings is being charged with third degree grand larceny.
All four will be arraigned on Wednesday.
