DONATIONS OF SCHOOL SUPPLIES
Women's Club of Farmingdale Donates School Supplies to St. Kilian's Outreach
In addition to the usual food donations, Women’s Club of Farmingdale Co-Presidents Rosemary Emigholz and Anna Ievolo and Welfare Chairman, Judy Masino, initiated a special call to club members to support their efforts to help neighborhood children kick off the start of the new school year. Members were asked to drop off donations of much needed school supplies to St. Kilian’s Outreach Center in Farmingdale. On Tuesday, August 19, members responded with bags of supplies, including notebooks, looseleaf paper, glue, crayons, rulers, scissors, pens and pencils. The center accepts donations Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2:30 pm. at its location at 140 Elizabeth Street, Farmingdale, across the street from St. Kilian’s Church in the rectory parking lot.
