Woodward Parkway Elementary Students Become 'Wellness Warriors'

Fourth graders at Farmingdale's  Woodward Parkway Elementary School recently launched a school-wide “Wellness Warriors” initiative.

Under the assistance of music teacher and certified health coach Eric Hulse, a certified health coach and music teacher, the program teaches students the importance of living a healthy lifestyle through various activities that promote a well-balanced diet. 

One lesson the students recently learned is importance of organic foods as they sowed seeds and harvested vegetables in a garden located at the school.
