• 2026 Fall Hydrant Flushing Begins 5 OCT (fishersisland.net) — Fishers Island Water Works will flush local water mains from October 5 through November 20, which may temporarily discolor tap water but will not affect its safety. Residents are urged to store clear water in advance, check water before doing laundry, and note special early-morning flushing between the museum and the school.
