3 Charged In Nassau County Burglary Ring: Police

Police said the trio were tracked down to a home in Queens, where jewelry, handbags, electronic devices and clothing were found.

LONG ISLAND, NY — The Nassau County Police Department announced the arrest of three people they say are responsible for a string of burglaries across the county. Police said they were investigating numerous residential burglaries around the county and shared with law enforcement agencies in the Tri-State area, leading detectives to identify the crew. Nassau detectives pinpointed the trio to a home on Sixth Avenue in College Point, Queens, police said.

At 8 a.m. Tuesday, police arrested Levy Frank Maury Bruggman, 23; Boneek Alexander Quintero-Baeza, 32; and Alexandra Ivonne Pizarro-Blanche, 23.

Police said they recovered jewelry, handbags, electronic devices and clothing that are believed to have been stolen during the burglaries. Police said they also recovered several identification card they believe the three used as aliases.

Brugmann was charged with being fugitive from justice. Quintero-Baeze was charged with second-degree burglary and being a fugitive from justice, and Pizarro-Blanche was charged with fourth-degree conspiracy. All three were scheduled to be arraigned Thursday in First District Court in Hempstead.
