4 Rescued From Early Morning Nassau House Fire
The blaze broke out in the early hours of the morning in Inwood, near the New York City border.
INWOOD, NY — Four people were rescued from a house fire early Monday morning.
According to police and firefighters, a call came in at 3:15 a.m. for a fire at a home on Monroe Street in Inwood, near the boarder between Nassau County and New York City.
Both Inwood and FDNY firefighters arrived on the scene. Four occupants of the home were safely evacuated. The Lawrence/Cedarhurst, Meadowmere Park, Woodmere, Long Beach and Valley Stream fire departments also responded to the blaze.

Firefighters say it took about two hours to put out the fire. No one was injured.
The Nassau County Arson/Bomb Squad investigated and deemed the fire not suspicious.
