4 Teens Charged In Burglary Of Nassau Country Club: Police

The club was broken into and about $750 worth of items stolen back in August, Nassau detectives said.

HEWLETT HARBOR, NY — Four teenage boys — including three 16 year olds and a 15-year-old —are facing charges in connection with the burglary of the Seawane Country Club in Hewelett Harbor last summer, Nassau County police said Tuesday.

Police were called to the club just before 9 p.m. on Aug. 31 for an open window at its tennis center, and a review of surveillance video showed four boys go inside, detectives said. The suspects stole various items worth around $750, and after an investigation was conducted, the quartet was found and placed under arrest without incident, according to detectives.

The teenagers have been charged with third-degree burglary and petit larceny.
