Brooklyn Man Carjacked Van Driver At Gunpoint: Police
BREAKING: The driver flagged down a passing motorist and the two followed his stolen van.

A Brooklyn man was arrested Wednesday afternoon after police say he stole a man's cash and van at gunpoint in Valley Stream and fled the scene.
According to police, at 4:16 p.m. Wednesday, Jeremy Singleton, 30, of Pacific Street, was a passenger on a 2016 Ford Omnibus van that was taking people from Queens to the Green Acres Mall. As everyone was exiting, police say that Singleton stayed in the van and told the driver he wanted to go back to Queens. When everyone else had left the van, police say Singleton put a gun to the back of the driver's head and demanded money, which the driver gave him.
The driver pulled the van over and got out. Then police say Singleton stole the van and drove away. The driver flagged down a passerby and asked them to follow his van while he called the police. The two followed the van until Singleton allegedly parked it and fled on foot.
