
Nassau County will host a free health and wellness fair on Sunday, Sept. 9, at the in Inwood.
The fair will feature an array of health and wellness resources, demonstrations, entertainment, balloons, games, and refreshments. Attendees will have the opportunity to receive free medical testing, vaccinations, mammograms, as well as attend martial arts, yoga, and pilates classes.
“I am happy to partner with the Lawrence community to host a health and wellness fair,” said Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano. “This health fair is a good example of government and local communities working together to foster quality care in a convenient forum for seniors and families.”

This collaborative effort, involving many Nassau County agencies and related health and human service providers, seeks to promote access to health care, encourage preventative health screenings and provide residents with information to help them live a healthier lifestyle.
