Hindi's Libraries Receives 10,000 Donated Books From North Shore Group

The Hewlett-based nonprofit has collected more than 400,000 books since 2018.

HEWLETT, NY — Hindi's Libraries, the international literary non-profit based in Hewlett, continues its mission to bring books to needy children.

In teaming up with the Northport Rotary for the holiday season, more than 10,000 books were donated.

The rotary delivered more than 100 boxes of books to Hindi's Libraries.

Along with the books, Hindi's received a generous contribution of $2,000 from the Northport Rotary to assist with shipping costs.

Books are sent to recipients, completely free of charge.

Since its inception in 2018, Hindi's Libraries has collected more than 400,000 books and partnered with 750 organizations worldwide.
