Inwood Man Arrested on Weapons Charges

An Inwood man was arrested after he got into an argument and shot at two victims on Bayview Avenue last Friday night.

According to Fourth Squad detectives, Daiquan Humphrey, 23, was "armed with a silver handgun and fired two shots at the victims as they ran away from him" around 10:45 p.m. No injuries were reported.

Humphrey was arrested at his home on Monday and charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd degree, Reckless Endangerment 1st degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree and Reckless Endangerment 2nd degree and will be arraigned on Tuesday in First District Court in Hempstead.
