Man Struck By Car, Badly Hurt Walking In Valley Stream: Police
The victim is hospitalized in critical condition, Nassau police say.
VALLEY STREAM, NY — A man is in critical condition after being struck by a car while walking Friday night.
The 62-year-old victim was crossing East Merrick Road at 11:45 p.m. when he was hit by a 2018 Honda Civic, police say.
The 28-year-old driver stayed at the scene and there is no criminality at this time, detectives say.
