Nassau Man Arrested For String of Armed Robberies: Police
BREAKING: Police say he robbed two convenience stores and a kids clothing store before be arrested.

A Hewlett man was arrested and charged with a string of armed robberies in Nassau County earlier this month.
According to police, Jason Shure, 25, of East Rockaway Road in Hewlett, was arrested and charged with three armed robberies in Nassau County.
The first, police say, was on Nov. 2. A man wearing a helmet with a mask, sunglasses, and black, white and yellow gloves entered The Barn, located at 1577 Broadway in Hewlett. He lifted his sweatshirt and showed his gun to the employee and took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.

On Nov. 4, police say Shure robbed the Rockaway Deli Mart, located on 429 Rockaway Ave. in Valley Stream, and once again showed the gun tucked in his pants before emptying out the register.
The third robbery was Nov. 6. Police say Shure robbed Kidz Stuff, located 205 Rockaway Ave. in Valley Stream. Police tracked him down to his home, but they said he fled before they arrived.

Police later found and arrested Shure. He is charged with first and second degree robbery. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday in First District Court in Hempstead.
