Officers gave him three doses of Narcan to revive him in the front seat of his car.

A Valley Stream man was arrested Thursday night and charged with driving while impaired with a child in the car after police revived him from an opiate overdose in his car.
According to police, officers saw Sean Daly, 49, of Dutch Broadway, sitting in the driver's seat of his 2018 Nissan truck at South Terrace Place and West Merrick Road at 7:55 p.m. Thursday. As the officers approached, police say they saw the car was running, and that there was a 40-year-old woman in the front passenger seat and a 7-year-old girl in the back seat.
Police say Daly was unresponsive to speech and touch. Officers administered three doses of Narcan and Daly was transported to a local hospital, where he was treated and released.
