BREAKING: He met with them to sell them clothes before they attacked him and stole the merchandise.

A man was robbed Thursday morning outside of the Green Acres Mall in Valley Stream by people he met online to arrange a sale, police said.

One of the robbers asked the man to see the items being sold. When the man bent down to retrieve the items from his bag, the two robbers began to punch him in his face and body. The first robber then took the bag, which contained the merchandise, and fled on foot southbound on Mayfield Lane.
