A Brooklyn woman faces charges after she stole money from members of a group home while working for them in Woodmere, according to Nassau County Police.

Between Nov. 12 and Nov. 17, 2012, detectives said Leslie Vega, 46, withdrew money from several TD bank accounts belonging to members of the AHRC group home, which serves people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. Police said Vega stole more than $4,000 from the accounts.

Police said they located Vega at Kings County Criminal Court where she was being arraigned on an unrelated charge.
