Nassau Man Shoots Himself In The Foot, Gets Arrested: Police
BREAKING: Police charged him with firearms possession after he was taken to a nearby hospital.
Nassau police arrested a Freeport man Thursday night after he shot himself in the foot.
According to police, Hykiem Manning, 32, of Bedford Avenue, was in front of a home on Terrace Avenue in Hempstead when he accidentally shot himself in the foot. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Manning is charged with second- and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was arraigned in First District Court in Hemsptead on Friday.
