HEWLETT, NY — Without community leaders, Hewlett wouldn’t hum along nearly as smoothly as it does. We’d miss their contributions in big and small ways.

Why do you believe the community leader should be recognized or honored? He has done much for the community- Board of Directors of Sibs Place, Created Hoops for Hope fundraiser for Sibs Place and Mt. Sinai South Nassau Hospital- Board of Directors of Peninsula Kiwanis Club,Supplies 2 food pantries, Provides backpacks, school supplies and winter clothing for children of need, Provides necessities and emergency supplies for families- Former Coach of 3 sports at Hewlett H.S.,31 winning seasons of JV Football, 18 Playoff as Varsity Basketball coach, Initiated Unified Basketball at Hewlett H.S. where disabled and non-disabled play together, Special Education teacher for decades.
