VALLEY STREAM, NY — Three people were arrested after kidnapping and robbing a Valley Stream man, Nassau police said.
At 10 p.m. on March 17, a 23-year-old man was sitting in a car with Karina Giordano, 46, in front of her home on South Cottage Avenue in Valley Stream, police said. Giordano invited the man to come up to her apartment, police said, and once inside, he was struck in the head with a handgun by Matthew Horan, 31. The victim fell to the floor, and Andrew Horan, 34, began to hit him repeatedly, police said.
The Horans demanded the victim's Rolex watch but he refused, police said. Andrew Horan began to hit the man's right hand with a rubber hammer then removed his watch and two necklaces valued at $87,000. They also stole two of the man's cell phones, his wallet, his cash and his car keys, police said.

Police said the three attackers then taped the victim's mouth shut, tied his ankles together, covered his face, and put him in his own car. The two Horans drove in his car while following Giordano, who police say was driving a different car. They were going to the victim's house, police said, to gain access to his safe.
