• Fatal Accident After Car Stops In Left-Lane On New York State Thruway (newsbreak.com) — A 50-year-old Floral Park resident was killed after his SUV inexplicably stopped in the left lane of I‑95 in Port Chester and was struck by another vehicle early Monday morning. State Police say lifesaving efforts failed at the scene before he was pronounced dead at Greenwich Hospital, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
