Inaugural Queens Community Bike Tour Next Month: What To Know

Queens Borough President Richards, NYC Parks and Transportation Alternatives will be hosting the event.

FLUSHING, NY — Queens Borough President Richards, NYC Parks and Transportation Alternatives will host the inaugural “Ride Queens” Bike Tour on Sunday, September 20, at 10 a.m.

The free, rain-or-shine community cycling event will begin and end at Flushing Meadows Corona Park, with riders choosing between two routes: a 12-mile loop through Central Queens or a 25-mile loop through Northern and Eastern Queens. Both routes will highlight existing and planned greenway infrastructure across the borough.

Participation requires advance registration, which is free and limited to 2,000 riders. Registered participants will receive the exact routes digitally before the event.

Following the ride, participants can enjoy a community festival at Flushing Meadows Corona Park featuring international food vendors, live performances, sponsor tables, giveaways and more.
