Korea Taekwondo-KTKD celebrated the grand opening of its second location in New York with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with community leaders and educators as well as martial arts demonstrations, special promotions, and free trial classes. The Korea Taekwondo-KTKD Corona martial arts center is located at 102-05 Northern Boulevard in Corona, NY 11367.

"Our vision is to be the home of life champions for the community. KTKD families are empowered through learning Taekwondo principles and values," stated Regina Im, founder and owner of Korea Taekwondo. "Through martial arts, we cultivate self-motivation, self-improvement, and good citizenship, which will help communities succeed in building the kind of world in which we want our children to live."

The grand opening celebration included Korea Taekwondo masters and students; John Choe, executive director of the Greater Flushing Chamber of Commerce as well as representatives from the Korean-American Parents Association, Community Board 3, Santander Bank, and local schools.
