Man Dies After Jump From Bronx-Whitestone Bridge: NYPD
The 44-year-old man died at Flushing Hospital after leaping from the bridge early Tuesday morning, police say.

WHITESTONE, QUEENS -- A 44-year-old man is dead after leaping from the Bronx-Whitestone Bridge on Tuesday morning, police said.
The man climbed out of his 2017 Subaru and made the 135-foot plunge into the East River just before 7 a.m., cops told Patch.
Harbor units rescued the jumper and brought him to a nearby pier, where first responders were waiting, police said.

Medics rushed him to Flushing Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
