Contact Realty Forest Hills

My review goes specifically for Contact Realty's broker, Gustavo. If I could give him more than five stars, I would. After making the decision to move back to NYC, I began my apartment search. (I  had lived here for six years prior and had worked with other brokers in the past...) Upon landing in NYC, I ran back to my past brokers who this time around weren't the best fit for me. Being an out-of-state candidate, I've always said it's harder to find an apartment in this city than it is to find a job! Stressed out and ready to give up and fly back to Minneapolis, I walked by Contact Realty and was immediately welcomed and assisted by Gustavo. I told him I wanted a one-bedroom in Forest Hills and gave him my price range. He did absolutely everything he could to help me in a respectful and professional manner. Within fifteen minutes, he had several apartments for me to view and drove me to see them. Unfortunately because I had not acted quick enough, I wasn't able to get any of the apartments which was my own fault. This is NYC - when you see an apartment you like, you must jump on it! One week later, Gustavo got back in touch with me stating he had another apartment available that he thought I'd like. He sent me all details and photographs. Believe it or not - I ended up taking the apartment sight unseen and only went by the photographs. I faxed all paperwork back and got the apartment 24 hours later. Less than a week later, I flew back to NYC to sign a lease. Without Gustavo's help, I never would have found a place. He did absolutely everything he could to help me including going out of his way several times on his after work hours by answering my questions, etc. and always very promptly. He is extremely professional, honest, and trustworthy. There are so many scams in NYC and I always recommend him to anyone seeking an apartment. I absolutely love my apartment and Gustavo is now on my speed-dial for future! Thank you, Contact Realty!
