Cop Confronts Mom, Child Over Vax Mandate At Queens Mall: Report
Several people were arrested during two nights of anti-vaccination protests at Queens Center Mall restaurants, the report said.

ELMHURST, QUEENS — A cop who ousted a mom and her son from a Queens mall restaurant spurred outrage online when video of the encounter went viral.
"Wow, scaring a child, traumatizing a child," a woman says in the video. "Hope you feel good about yourselves, NYPD.
"Is this what you signed up for? Is this what justice looks like for you?" she continued.

The police officers had been called to Applebee's in Queens Center Mall to talk to anti-vaccination protesters who sat down and asked to be served despite the fact they did not have vaccination cards.
"Unless you have vaccination cards, you have to leave the restaurant, all right?" an officer tells the crowd. “If you leave voluntarily, there will not be charges pressed against you. Otherwise, you will be arrested for trespass. This will be your only warning. Please."

A news outlet called The Post Millenial shared the video to Twitter that had been recorded from the Instagram app. In the video, officers from the NYPD Strategic Response Group tell the protesters to disperse and warn them if they do not leave, they will be arrested.
The mother and her child were not booked, according to the New York Post. Several other children are seen in the video.

Several people were arrested at the Applebee's and at Cheesecake Factory the day before during two nights of anti-vaccination protests at the Queens Center Mall, according to the Sunnyside Post.
The protesters participated in sit-down demonstrations Dec. 14 and 15, the report said. When workers asked the protesters to show vaccination cards, they refused to leave, and police were called.
Employees and patrons of restaurants in New York City are required to have proof of vaccination.
Videos of the arrests were posted on social media. The protesters were charged with criminal trespassing, The Sunnyside Post reported.
