Local Man Jumps From Roof Of Forest Hills Apartment Building
Resident, 22, lived in one of the lower floors of the building.
A local man jumped from the roof of a 13-story apartment complex near the intersection of the Long Island Expressway and the Grand Central Parkway in Forest Hills Monday evening,
The man, who has not yet been identified by police, was found outside his apartment building at 110-01 62nd Drive in Forest Hills shortly after 7 p.m. Monday.
Residents of the building called 911 to report what someone believed to be an emotionally disturbed person throwing himself from the building's rooftop.

Police and emergency medical technicians arrived shortly thereafter, and the victim was pronounced dead at New York Hospital Queens in Flushing at 7:52 p.m.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing, though no charges are expected to be filed.
