Man Breaks Into Rego Park Restaurant, Steals Cash Registers: NYPD
A man broke into a Rego Park restaurant early Wednesday and made off with two cash registers and an iPad, according to the police.
REGO PARK, QUEENS — A man broke into a Rego Park restaurant early Wednesday and made off with two cash registers and an iPad, according to the police.
The man approached Cuzco Peru Restaurant at 98-102 Queens Blvd. about 4 a.m., police said.
After making several attempts to get into the eatery, which were captured on surveillance video released by the NYPD, the man shattered the glass front door with a kick.

He climbed into the restaurant and grabbed an iPad and two cash registers, which held about $180, police said.
