Pedestrian Killed In Rego Park Crash, Police Say
A 76-year-old woman from Middle Village, Queens, died from injuries sustained in January.

REGO PARK, QUEENS - A 76-year-old Queens woman has died from injuries suffered in a Rego Park car crash that happened last month, police said. The woman, Eashwari Reddy, suffered head and torso trauma in the Jan. 10 crash.
The driver, 44, was heading south on Woodhaven Boulevard at 6:18 p.m. when he hit the pedestrian, who was crossing the boulevard by 62nd Road, according to police. Reddy, who lived nearby, was taken to Elmhurst Hospital Center in critical condition. The driver stayed at the scene.
She died from her injuries on Feb. 3, police said Thursday.
