Queens Community House & the Supreme Beings Celebrates 15 years of Break Dancing

Please
join the Queens Community House Youth Outreach Program and the Supreme
Beings Dance Crew as we celebrate 15 years of Hip Hop in the New York
Breakin' scene.

For 15 years the Queens Community House has
provided a safe space for young men and women to come, learn, and hone their skills in the art of break dancing. The Supreme Beings were one of
the first dance crews to be a part of this program and have never left.
They have helped recruit at-risk young people and get them off the
streets enrolled in skill building programs and have been pioneers on
the dance scene.

Due to major budget cuts in recent years the
Youth Outreach Program has been running on a minimal budget. We have had
to lay off staff members, cut back on services provided while seeing
our number of participants increase each year.

With this event
we will not only celebrate 15 years of a great dance crew but 15 years
of a great program that is needed by the young people.

The event
is free but we ask if all people attending could find it in their

hearts to donate to help keep the program running. Suggested donation is

$5 but every penny counts and is appreciated.
