Queens Public Library Will Teach You How To Spot Fake News
Queens Public Library is celebrating National Library Week through April 13 with free events, like a discussion on identifying fake news.

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — New Yorkers this week can head to the Forest Hills public library to learn how to identify fake news, listen to live music at the Far Rockaway library or decorate Easter eggs in the Sunnyside library.
It's all part of Queens Public Library's celebration of National Library Week from April 7 to 13. The borough's 65 public libraries will offer scavenger hunts, live music and crafts to encourage locals to learn more about the services each library provides.
The weeklong lineup is part of the Queens Public Library's effort to forge stronger connections with the residents of Queens.

The library last week unveiled a new motto — "We speak your language" — to signal its focus on engaging locals of different backgrounds. The rebranding includes a new website available in more than 80 languages and an upcoming language interpretation hotline at some branches.
