Woman's Wallet Stolen At Rego Park Costco, Police Say

REGO PARK, QUEENS — Police are looking for a man who they say stole a woman's wallet while she was shopping at a Rego Park store two weeks ago.

On the early evening of Aug. 14, around 5: 20 p.m., a 40-year-old woman was shopping at a Rego Park Costco, located at 61-35 Junction Boulevard, when her wallet was stolen, police said.

The person who stole the wallet went on to make repeated, unauthorized purchases with the woman's credit cards, which were located in her wallet, according to the NYPD.

Police did not describe the wallet thief, but they did include pictures of him taken from nearby. In one photo you can see him rifling through the woman's wallet.

As of Aug. 25 the case remains open for investigation, and no arrests have been made, according ot the NYPD.
