6-year-old Found Dead In Farragut Houses: Cops
The child's death is under investigation, police said.

VINEGAR HILL, BROOKLYN — Police are investigating the death of a 6-year-old boy that they found unconscious in the Farragut Houses complex on Tuesday night.
Officers responded to a 911 call about an unconscious male in the 111 Bridge Street building around 7:16 p.m. on Tuesday. When they arrived, they found 6-year-old Amari Ransom unconscious and unresponsive inside.
Records show that Amari lived in an apartment in the building. He was pronounced dead at Brooklyn Hospital.

The New York City Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
The death is the second that has been investigated by police in the housing complex this year.

In January, 44-year-old Roshee Williams was found semi-conscious in the building with trauma to his head. He was rushed to Methodist Hospital, but later pronounced dead.
Williams' death has since been deemed a homicide.
