A Sneak Peek at the New Freddy's!

The legendary Freddy's Bar and Backroom will finally reopen in South Slope on Feb. 4, months after Bruce Ratner's Atlantic Yards project forced the bar from its longstanding home on Dean Street in Prospect Heights. 

Though there’s still some work to be done, the folks at Freddy’s were nice enough to let Patch take a sneak peek.

Every corner of the new Freddy’s is packed with cool artifacts, from video installations by co-owner Donald O’Finn, to handmade wallpaper by artist Nancy Drew and vintage finds like barnwood O’Finn and co-owner Matt Kuhn literally tore off a barn in upstate New York.
