BRIC "Art Into Music"

The Art Into Music exhibition is devoted to artists whose work is inspired by music, a fitting theme given Brooklyn’s international prominence as a magnet for both visual artists and musicians.  The exhibition will feature 12 artists working varied media and exploring the material platforms of music, the culture of music, and/or music as a formative element in our personal and cultural identities. The exhibition will feature a 9-ft tower of boomboxes by artist Bayete Ross Smith, a wall of record albums and accompanying soundtracks by Arturo Meade, and a stage/listening station designed by John Felix Arnold III, among other works. FREE Admission.

Gallery Hours: Tues – Sun, 10am- 8pm; Closed Mondays
