Brooklyn's Pennywise Trades In Balloon For Box Cutter And Gun
A man was arrested Tuesday for strolling into a Clinton Hill HRA office with a clown mask, loaded gun and box cutter in his bag.

CLINTON HILL, BROOKLYN — The new "It" movie must have a lot of fans in Brooklyn.
Just a few days after a magician dressed as Pennywise the clown rode the L train, a Brooklyn man on parole was arrested for bringing the creepy clown mask and a gun into a Human Resources Administration office in Clinton Hill.
Police found 30-year-old Rahmeek Younger at the 505 Clermont Ave. office just after 2 p.m. Tuesday with a loaded .22-caliber handgun and the Pennywise mask in his bag after someone called 911, an NYPD spokesman said.

"The red balloon was a dead giveaway..." NYPD joked on Twitter, posting a photo of the mask and weapon. "The new @ITMovieOfficial may be 2 weeks away, but a parolee in Brooklyn wanted to be Pennywise today."
Younger was arrested and faces criminal weapons possession, resisting arrest and other charges for the incident. The photo posted on Twitter also shows that Younger had a box cutter and extra ammunition with him.

"Instead of terrorizing kids with a haunting grin, he used a gun—which didn’t scare off officers from the @NYPD88Pct who made the arrest," NYPD said.
This isn't the first time Younger had trouble with the law. He was also arrested in 2012 for possession of a firearm, in 2007 for criminal mischief and in 2006 for robbery, police said.
The first sighting of Pennywise in the borough this week was much less sinister.
That clown, who was caught on video riding the L train from Manhattan into Brooklyn, was New York City magician Alejandro Torres, who was commuting home after shooting a Pennywise magic video.
Both It-inspired costumes portray the evil clown in the Warner Bros. sequel "IT Chapter Two," scheduled to release on Sept. 6.
