Clinton Hill Stabbing: Woman Attacked In Broad Daylight, Says FDNY And Witness

The victim was rushed to Methodist Hospital in serious condition, an FDNY spokesman said.

CLINTON HILL, BROOKLYN — A woman was stabbed on a Clinton Hill street corner in broad daylight Wednesday afternoon, according to the FDNY and a witness.

The victim was stabbed on the corner of Lafayette and Grand avenues around 3:15 p.m. and was rushed to Methodist Hospital, said an FDNY spokesman.

Brian Argueta, 23, who works at Peaches Shrimp & Crab on Grand Avenue, said he did not witness the crime but saw emergency responders treating an elderly woman.

"She was attacked with a knife," said Argueta. "An ambulance came here and got her."

Argueta described the victim as an older woman whom he believes to be homeless.

"I have seen here before," he said.

Police did not have immediate information about the attack.
