Cycling Mugger Robs 9-Year-Old In Brooklyn, Police Say

Surveillance video shows the man stealing $3 from a 9-year-old boy waiting for his school bus in Clinton Hill.

CLINTON HILL, BROOKLYN — Police are looking for the cycling mugger who stole $3 from a 9-year-old boy.

The hooded thief cornered the little boy while he was waiting for his school bus on Spencer Street near DeKalb Avenue around 8 a.m. on Oct. 26, police said.

Surveillance footage shows the biker pinning the boy against a wall before yanking three dollars out of his hand and riding away.

The 9-year-old was not injured, according to police.

Police describe the suspect as a teenager standing about 5-foot-7, weighing 140 pounds and last seen wearing a blue hoodie and dark pants.
