Afro-Cuban Dance Workshops at CUMBE with Living Legend Juan de Dios

On Saturday, May 12, Cumbe has the honor to welcome living legend Juan de Dios!

Juan de Dios and Raices Profundas' top female dancer and top percussionist, Dori Rojas and Piri Lopez, will teach workshops on three different dance styles from Cuba and then lead a conversation about Afro-Cuban dance:

11p - 12p: Vudun
12p - 1p: Arara
1p -2p: Rumba
2p -3p: Pot-luck lunch and Conversation on the history and culture of Afro-Cuban
dance and music.
