Part of the 2012 Winter/Spring Season

Sat, Apr 14, 2012 at 5pm

Johnathan Bate
In conversation with Barry Edelstein

Jonathan Bate, preeminent Shakespeare biographer, editor of the Royal Shakespeare Company’s William Shakespeare Complete Works, and Oxford professor, talks about adapting the Bard’s life as a one-man play in Being Shakespeare, a “memorably multidimensional picture of Shakespeare, steeped in scholarship and love” (The Guardian, UK). Barry Edelstein, director of the Shakespeare Lab at The Public Theater, will moderate this Artist Talk.
