Longtime best friends straight girl Jenn and gay boy Matt, both single and facing diminishing dating returns, decide to fulfill a promise made back in college to have a baby together. But with no turkey baster readily available, they try to do it the old-fashioned way. Lisecki’s first feature is an incredibly funny, quintessentially New York tale that courts farce but never actually goes all the way. Lensed by Clay Liford (director of the short My Mom Smokes Weed, BAMcinemaFest 2010), Gayby features a fabulous cast of New York theater talent that includes Jenn Harris (Silence! The Musical), Matthew Wilkas (currently in Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark), and Jack Ferver (Rumble Ghost).
