Thad Ziolkowski, director of the Writing Program at Pratt Institute and author of the PEN/Martha Albrand Award-winning memoir On a Wave, presents his debut novel Wichita, published by Tonga, the new imprint of innovative independent publisher Europa Editions Praised by fellow authors Kurt Anderson, Alice Sebold, Sam Lipsyte and Susanna Moore, the novel concerns communes, polyamory, Ponzi schemes, meth labs, and guided tours of tornados, while remaining a poignant story of family and brotherhood, ambition and self-destruction. Thad will be introduced by Europa's editor-in-chief Michael Reynolds.
