Doors open at 7pm
2012 is an exciting one in the career of the Grammy nominated singer/songwriter. His long-awaited opera Prima Donna opened at BAM in New York City on February 19th, followed by a music video shoot slated for early March in London for title track and first single Out of the Game. A labor of love for both Wainwright and Ronson, Rufus calls his new album, “the most pop album I’ve ever made,” while Ronson stated, “it’s the best work of my career.” Recorded in Brooklyn, New York in the fall of 2011, the twelve songs are hook-laden, memorably arranged tracks reminiscent of Rufus’ early work.
Rufus Wainwright’s seventh studio album will be available May 1 from Decca. The Mark Ronson-produced album will be supported with appearances around the world, including select US live concerts confirmed for May.
