Motorcyclist Takes Out Gun, Knife During Fight On BQE: Cops

A motorcyclist showed a driver a gun and a knife when the two got into an argument on the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway in Fort Greene.

FORT GREENE, BROOKLYN — Police are looking for the motorcyclist who showed a driver his gun and knife during an argument on the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway on Monday.

A 41-year-old driver and the motorcyclist got into a disagreement in the middle lane of the highway when they were both driving eastbound toward Exit 30 near Flushing Avenue. When they were arguing, the motorcyclist showed the driver a gun that was in his waistband and threatened him by taking out a knife, police said.

The driver, or who appears to be a passenger in his car, caught part of the altercation on video. The video shows the motorcyclist putting on his helmet and riding away after the fight.

Police describe the motorcyclist as being about 30 years old, standing about 5'8" with a black beard and tattoos on both his arms. He was last seen wearing a red T-shirt, blue jeans, black boots, and a multicolored motorcycle helmet. His motorcycle was grey and was last seen riding eastbound on the BQE.
