Sullied Accolades (a Brooklyn-based string trio) creates an eclectic mix of music that ranges from delicate strings to percussive, salty swashbuckling sounds. The group formed in southern California as these like-minded artists and musicians gathered for late-night soirees. They caravanned out to Brooklyn in 2010 and now live together, still creating their original tunes. The upright bass, guitar, and violin bring together elements of jazz, folk, and gypsy that combine with soulful, guttural singing.
