Teens Tease, Kick And Rob Pair On C Train In Clinton Hill, Police Say

Five teenagers threatened to stab the man and woman they robbed on a southbound C train last month, police said.

CLINTON HILL, BROOKLYN — Police are looking for a group of teenagers who teased, kicked, then robbed a man and woman on a southbound C train last Sunday.

The 24-year-old woman and 27-year-old man were accosted by five teenagers on a C train approaching the Franklin Avenue station on July 23 around 4:50 a.m., police said.

The teens, three girls and two boys between the ages of 17 and 19, made rude remarks and threatened to stab the pair before they started kicking, police said.

The altercation ended when one of the teenagers grabbed the woman’s purse and the group fled the train at the Franklin Avenue station in Clinton Hill, said police.

A surveillance camera captured images of the suspects, who can be seen walking through the station's turnstiles, police.

One girl weighs about 170 pounds, sported red cornrows and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, shorts, and sneakers, the second girl weighs about 160 pounds and last seen wearing a multi-colored t-shirt and shorts, the third weighs about 140 pounds and wore a ponytail, a black T-shirt, shorts, and sneakers.

The three girls all stand about five-foot-seven.

The two boys both stand about five-foot-nine and one was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, white sneakers and black jeans while the other sported a black t-shirt, black shorts and black and white sneakers.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police.
