Thief Bought $300 In MetroCards With Stolen Credit Cards: Police
The suspect snatched a woman's wallet from a purse attached to her baby stroller in the Jay Street Subway station, cops said.

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN — A man stole a wallet from a baby stroller and used the money to buy $300 in MetroCards, police announced Monday.
The suspect snatched a 35-year-old woman’s wallet from her purse — which was attached to her baby stroller — in the Jay Street Subway station on Monday, March 13, at around 5:30 p.m., police said.
The thief made off with the woman’s credit cards and used them to buy more than $300 in MetroCards at the Fulton Street station in Manhattan later that day, said police.

The suspect was caught on surveillance footage and is described as a man standing six-foot-two and wearing glasses, a knitted Raiders cap, dark coat, gray pants and a dark sweater.
