Man And Woman Shot Dead In Fort Greene Apartment: Cops

FORT GREENE, BROOKLYN — Police are investigating the death of a man and a woman who they found shot in a Clermont Avenue apartment Sunday night.

Officers were sent to the apartment inside 7 Clermont Ave. around 11:30 p.m. after a 911 caller said someone was being harassed inside, police said. When they got there, police found a 44-year-old woman and 47-year-old man shot in the head in the bedroom.

Emergency responders pronounced both people dead at the scene, police said.

Police also found a gun inside the apartment.

There were no other details immediately available about the incident.
