Watch: Brooklyn Crash Witness Walks Away, Finishes Pizza Slice
The woman appeared unfazed by Sunday night's bloody, multi-casualty car crash in Fort Greene.

The chaotic crash scene that unfolded in central Fort Greene, Brooklyn, early Sunday evening was not enough to faze one witness, who — according to surveillance video obtained by DNAinfo — casually finished eating her pizza slice as she strolled away from the scene.
The woman was just steps from the spot where, around 5:30 p.m., a Chevy SUV killed 30-year-old pedestrian (and Brooklyn Heights art curator) Victoria Nicodemus and injured two others, video shows.

The driver of the Chevy SUV, 39-year-old Brownsville resident Marlon Sewell, reportedly hopped the curb of Fulton Street to avoid hitting an MTA bus stopped in front of him. Instead, he hit Nicodemus, her boyfriend and another elderly woman — all pedestrians on the busy commercial block.
Witnesses told the New York Daily News that people in the immediate vicinity of the crash went into a state of hysteria.

“This place was a madhouse,” Byron Logan, 72, told the paper. “I’ve never seen so many people screaming.”
At least one witness, though, found the scene uninteresting enough to continue walking and finishing her slice.
Lerima Guadelupe, 32, an employee at a nearby bakery, said in an interview with DNAinfo: “I don’t know how you could keep eating your pizza and keep walking. There’s no reason. At least try. Make it your business to help.”
