"We continue to work with our law enforcement partners to end this senseless gang violence in our communities and prosecute those responsible for committing these violent acts."

Haughton and a 19-year-old victim entered the park bathroom where they were followed by several Bloods members who were there for a gang meeting, according to the D.A.
When Haughton and the other victim attempted to leave the park, the exit was blocked by numerous gang members. Anderson and McNeil then started firing on the victims, Donnelly said in the release.
Haughton was struck twice, once in the chest. The other victim was shot in the shoulder and treated at an area hospital.
